EMCR Award
In 2021 the Australasian Society for Psychophysiology launched an Early-to-Mid-Career Researcher (EMCR) Award. This Award consists of a total cash prize of $2000, as well as free registration to the upcoming ASP conference where they will present a keynote talk.
For equity, the EMCR Award is open in alternating years to:
- Early Career Researchers within 3 years of their PhD conferral, in even years from 2022
- Early-Mid Career Researchers (3-7 years from PhD conferral) commencing in 2021 (odd years)
Applications for the 2024 EMCR Award are now open to all current and eligible Early Career ASP members. Applicants must email their completed application form to our EMCR Committee Lead (danielle.mathersul@murdoch.edu.au) no later than 11.59 pm AWST on Monday 30 September 2024.
Winners of the ASP EMCR Award will be decided by the EMCR Committee*: Dr Danielle Mathersul (Murdoch University), Dr Shu Yau (Murdoch University), Dr Allison Matthews (UTas), and Dr Tribikram Thapa (Monash University).
*Where EMCR Committee members are eligible and apply for the EMCR Award, they will be excused from the decision panel.
