ASP Conferences *
The annual Conference is held in late November or early December, and the venue rotates around the centres of Psychophysiological research in the region.
AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE WITH A STUDENT FOCUS
To further its aims, the ASP holds an Annual Conference. These meetings enable the presentation and discussion of original theory and research in Psychophysiology, along with methodology, instrumentation, standards, and new directions in the field. The conference brings together researchers from psychology, psychiatry, and neuroscience, with a focus on relationships between the brain and behaviour. We encourage both poster and oral presentations from any area of psychophysiology and cognitive neuroscience, as described in the About the Area section.
ASP has always placed particular emphasis on student involvement at its conference as part of their career development. A high proportion of presentations are by students, many as platform presentations. Further, methods workshops are run where possible, and prizes are awarded for the best student presentations.
